I went to & grajuated from WHS. It was definitely a pass-em on to get rid of em type of environment when I was in highschool. Especially with athletes and anyone in special programs like football, 4H, military ROT's club, special ed etc... I think if the teachers/princpals would have focus on learning students better rather than new enforcing new disipline methods our class would have had a lot more students be succesful. I wood say less then half of my class even stayed in school. I remember one time my english teacher asked who plans to go to college & some kids were actually ashamed to raise there hands. Less then maybe half even raised their hands at all & my teacher rolls her eyes at us and walk out. As a current education major the thought of that makes me sick. I feel that most of these teacher just do whatever to get a paycheck and summers off.. Very sad state of affares! - submitted by a former student and community member

The athletic program...girls volleyball is a dismal failure. The coaching has been a huge disappointment. When you have seniors setting on the bench their last year while you play freshman is a shame. There was never any consistency in the line up and a lack of leadership from the coaching staff. If you want you child to play sports I.e. Volleyball choose another school.

Previous student: I don't know, what they added to the water at Weatherford High School, but it must be something really great. From having my first boss Roger Gizzard at Pizza Place in 1979 who is now teaches there, pointing me in the right direction to John Chesney who is retired now. He was hard but fair and he wanted the very best from each of us. Twenty-twenty and high-insight, I have been very fortunate to accomplish the things that I have with this school as a foundation. I have navigated to 40 different countries while serving in the U.S. Navy for 21 years and afterward just completed my Masters degree in Information Technology, specializing in Project Management. I wasn t best student academically back then, just ask Bob Lee, but I was one of most determined. Some of the older teachers would be surprised in the direction in which I am in currently. Thank you, Sean S. Hasley MSIT-PM 2012 and WHS 1983

Weatherford high school is a great school, though some students are just crazy. Which we need more survalence and more cops to watch out for those crazy kids. The teachers are great and push you to get to your dreams.

Great school, though a lot of great teachers have left. Moved here from out of state and couldn't have felt more at home. Academics are stressed as well as sports. However academics always came before sport actvities.

Weatherford High School offers an excellent education. It's almost impossible to believe that this school is open to everybody. Although my daughter is good in academics, she started focusing on extracurricular activities when she arrived to this school, which has been a blessing to all my children. Thank you to the Weatherford ISD for making this school a rigorous, college-prep, athletic-focused, individual-thinking (and simply amazing) institution where kids are to succeed.

Weatherford High school is one of the best schools in the world in my opinion. The principal controls with a firm hand but understanding at the same time. The teachers are all caring and work hard at making sure the students grasp the information they are trying to teach them.. The Special Ed dept is top rate. They care about their students and do everything possible to help them be the best that they can. Overall this is the best of the best.
