How many cases of Bullying have been reported at Boyd for the school year of 2013-2014? What has been done about it?

This is the most student centered school I have ever heard about. The faculty and administration work together to give the students support and I dare say love in full measure. The atmosphere is one of help and cooperation with the faculty concerned for the students and not back stabbing each other or playing blame games. If you want your child truely cared for then this is the place to be.

Boyd is a good school to go to. It has very good teacher interactiion with students. This is the place to go if you do not want your child going to a big high school. The small town interaction means you will get to know everybody there. Boyd has just built a new high school and a new football stadium. Your child will get a excellent education at this school.

Boyd is a great school. We came from Northwest ISD and I do not recommend anyone to attend these schools. There are too many students and not enough teacher involvement with students. Boyd classes are small and the teachers and students can get involved and communicate with each other. The teachers are wonderful and they really listen to the parents and care. My children will graduate with honors and high self esteem from a school that cared abouth their education. This is not a slack off school!! We love it at Boyd!!!

I graduated from this school in 2008 and I thought that the faculty did a wonderful job in their respective subjects. My senior year a lot of changes were put in place and half of the staff was replaced. I do not agree with everybody else on topic of the math program. Mr. Smith is an excellent teacher if you get up into the higher math (past algebra); Mrs. Lindsey is also very involved with students education in history and economics; Mr. Oosterhaus is the only reason that I'm passing my college biology class, he's excellent in science; And Mrs Johnson taught me in the arts, Now I'm working as a wedding photographer, making about $150 dollars a day, 3 days a week. (enough to cover my tuition!) I feel like Boyd Hign School more than prepares me for my life in College, where I'm majoring in Fine Arts.

Good teacher involvement. Great sports program. Facilities are being improved thanks to a much needed bond program.

I attended school there until last year. I'm a ninth grader at Saginaw High School now. And I'm glad I got out of that school. If you want your child to get a good education, don't send them there. It was fun, I have to admit. But, the education was terrible. I agree with Cole, the math is the worst! Please note that I am not downing Boyd in any way. Some of the funnest moments of my life happened there. And I loved it there. Boyd is what I like to call a slack-off school. It's good if your only interested in your child having the time of their lives. But, if you want a serious education i don't recommend this school.

i graduated in 2005, I was on the state football team, and I now attend college at UNT where I ran track for a while. Boyd was a hell hole, the math program is the worst, in fact I blame Boyd for me doing so poorly my first couple of years in college because I've had to study extra time to catch up with every body ells and I have yet to pass a math class here simply because half the things on the board that they say we should have learn in high school I did not. Save you children the trouble and don't put them through BISD. I went there k-12. the only good thing that is there is the athletics

I do not think that the high school in this district offers a environment the encourages strong academics. You do not get a lot of teacher involvement , I know this does not apply to all teachers some in the district are very caring and have the ability and desire to teach. I would not recommend that you place your child in this school unless you had no other option

Students at this school that go on to college, do so only through self teaching (I guess this could be considered good). The staff of Boyd ISD does little to help prepare the students for a successful academic life. There is a big problem when you have seniors that read on a 7th grade level and can't do simple multiplication!
